Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "user", or "customer") and DealsFinder ("we", "us", "our", or "Company") concerning your access to and use of the Resume Builder tool and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Resume Builder, downloading resume templates, or making any purchase through our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT USE THE SERVICE.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

DealsFinder Resume Builder is an online tool that allows users to create professional resumes using customizable templates. The Service includes:

  • PDF download functionality
  • Storage of resume data for registered users

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

User Eligibility & Representations

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
  • You will maintain the accuracy of such information
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Payment Terms & Refund Policy

IMPORTANT: NO REFUND POLICY

Due to the highly customized and personalized nature of resume creation, all sales are final. Once you download or access your customized resume, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

Payment Processing

  • We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and third-party payment processors
  • All prices are displayed in CAD unless otherwise stated
  • You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information
  • You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for all purchases
  • Applicable taxes will be added to the purchase price at checkout

Why No Refunds?

Resume creation is a personalized service where each document is customized with your unique information, experience, and preferences. Once you have received access to download your customized resume:

  • The service has been fully delivered
  • You have received the customized digital product
  • The work cannot be "returned" as it is uniquely tailored to you
  • We cannot verify that you have not used or will not use the resume

What If There's a Problem?

If you experience technical issues, errors, or problems with your resume, please contact us immediately at support@dealsfinder.com. We will work with you to resolve legitimate technical problems or errors on our end. This does not constitute a refund policy, but we are committed to ensuring you receive a functional product.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, templates, designs, logos, and trademarks, are owned by DealsFinder and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose only.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create using our Service, including the information you input into your resume. However, by using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

License to Use Templates

When you purchase or download a resume using our templates, you receive a non-exclusive license to use that specific resume for your personal job search purposes. You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share our templates with others
  • Claim ownership of our template designs
  • Use our templates to create competing resume builder services
  • Remove any copyright notices or branding from downloaded files
Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service

How We Store and Use Your Data

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

No Employment Guarantee

We do not guarantee that using our Resume Builder will result in job interviews, job offers, or employment. Your success in the job market depends on many factors beyond the quality of your resume, including your qualifications, experience, market conditions, and application strategy.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEALSFINDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Extended periods of inactivity
